Job Description
Seeking an experienced MRI technologist skilled in advanced imaging techniques to support a dynamic radiology department in Greensboro, NC. This travel opportunity offers the chance to work within a high-acuity hospital environment equipped with state-of-the-art wide bore MRI scanners, including GE Architect 3T, GE Artist 1.5T, and Siemens Sola 1.5T. Candidates will handle a diverse patient population ranging from infants to geriatrics and perform complex imaging procedures involving conditional implants and critical care patients.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
- Current registration in MRI with ARRT or ARMRIT mandatory
- Proven expertise in GE and Siemens MRI systems
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
- Experience with anesthesia, pediatric sedations, ventilator ICU patients, and general pediatrics including non-sedated cases
- Skilled in scanning conditional devices using SAR and B1+RMS guidance, including MR conditional pacemakers, ICDs, and stimulators
- Ability to adjust imaging parameters to meet device-specific scanning conditions

Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI diagnostic procedures in a fast-paced acute care setting
- Operate and troubleshoot three advanced MRI scanners across various shifts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, managing patient care from infants to elderly adults
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and scanning conditions for devices
- Participate in holiday and weekend rotations as well as backup call coverage as needed
Schedule:
- 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week (7 pm to 7 am)
- Friday through Sunday schedule with flexibility required
- Holiday rotation and backup on-call responsibilities included
