NICU Registered Nurse – Night Shift
Overview
A hospital facility is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse to support its high‑acuity neonatal intensive care unit. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and the ability to care for critically ill newborns in a fast‑paced Level II/III NICU environment. This is a night‑shift assignment under a standard 36‑hour weekly contract.

End Date: April 20, 2026 (13‑week contract)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Shift: 19:00–07:30 (night shift)

Required Qualifications
Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
Strong neonatal assessment and critical‑care skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care to premature and critically ill newborns
Perform comprehensive assessments and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications, manage ventilators, and monitor complex clinical data
Support families with education, updates, and compassionate communication
Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and NICU support staff
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold all safety and quality standards
