Physical Therapy Assistant Location: Lamar, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,026 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant Profession: Rehabilitation Therapy Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift M-F Hours per Shift: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience with a preference for outpatient settings License: Currently credentialed by the State Physical Therapy Board Certifications: Verification card of current instruction in BLS Must-Have: Inpatient experience Description: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work as part of a team to provide physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist. The PTA will implement selected components of patient interventions and obtain data related to the interventions provided. They will make modifications in selected interventions either to progress the patient or to ensure safety and comfort. PTAs assist in the treatment of individuals of all ages who have medical problems or health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities. Patient care is provided in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and home health environments. The Physical Therapist Assistant reports directly to the Rehabilitation Manager. Strong communication skills are necessary for interactions with employees, visitors, and medical personnel. The ability to adjust to situations involving different people and projects is essential, along with independent action and judgment. Physical competency to operate necessary equipment and perform technical procedures is required. The position demands professionalism in communication and the exercise of supervision and management skills. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Experience encompasses a minimum of two years, primarily with outpatient settings, and bilingual capabilities are helpful. The working environment is Monday through Friday, in a state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility that is clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled.
