Psychiatric Tech Location: Albuquerque, NM Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 7 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Director of Nursing - Surgical Services (OR) | Full-Time Day Shifts | Albuquerque, NM Lead a high-performing operating room team in New Mexico's only accredited robotics program, overseeing state-of-the-art surgical services with 7 main ORs, 2 GI procedure suites, and 3 da Vinci XI systems. Manage high-volume cases (600/month) across GYN, urogynecology, urology, orthopedics, and general surgery, plus PACU, pre-op, and pre-admission testing for ~100 clinical staff. Key Responsibilities: Provide 24/7 leadership for OR, GI, PACU, pre-op, and related departments Drive clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and staff engagement Monitor quality, patient/employee satisfaction, and implement improvement strategies Manage administrative, financial, and clinical activities; foster physician collaboration Mentor leaders/staff as a change agent in a people-first, technology-driven environment Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Master's in nursing/related field preferred Current New Mexico RN license 5 years clinical nursing (or 3 years clinical 2 years management) BLS certification (within 14 days of hire) Strong communication, critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal-supervision ability Ideal: 5 years OR experience running robotics program in high-volume surgical environment Why Join Us?
