Radiation Therapist Location: Denver, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,743 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Clienttion Therapist Specialty: - Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 or 9 Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Current license in state of practice is required if applicable Certifications: - BLS - American Heart Association - ARRT - RT(T) certifications in radiation therapy Must-Have: - Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program is required - Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily Description: The Clienttion Therapist is responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes in accordance with the prescription of the Clienttion Oncologist. The therapist is accountable for the simulation of patients in preparation for radiation therapy, basic patient care, and education. Checks prescription, diagnosis, chart, and patient identification. Explains procedures to the patients, reinforcing the Clienttion Oncologist's and/or nurses' instructions regarding reactions to the treatment and their care. Prepares the room and equipment for the patient according to the prescription, including immobilization devices, blocks, and field sizes. Transfers patients as needed. Verifies the treatment metrics and beam energy in the treatment chart, noting any prescribed adjustments. Documents treatment metrics, cumulative doses, site-specific doses, treatment parameters, instructions, diagrams, photos, and all billing information. Performs treatment simulation and all related procedures, including cerrobend block fabrication. Develops X-rays and port films as needed, filing as appropriate. Observes and inquires about any unusual reactions or events from the patient. Assists in maintaining order and cleanliness of the unit and maintains appropriate stock levels. Completes daily, progress, and discharge documentation according to departmental standards. Accurately documents productivity information. Participates in quality and patient safety initiatives. Identifies potential areas for improvement, including processes that could be streamlined or revised to improve patient satisfaction. Identifies potential safety hazards that could create problems for patients and/or staff and takes appropriate actions. Documents patient plan(s) of care, tests, and examination results in the medical record as directed by the provider. Escalates non-routine issues, questions, and/or concerns to the practice manager or healthcare provider(s). Ensures safety checklists and quality controls are completed as required. Promotes mission, vision, and values of the organization, and abides by service behavior standards. Performs other duties as assigned.
