Radiology Tech Location: Reno, NV Agency: Sable Corporation Pay: $2,680 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Travel (Days, M F with Call) Schedule: Monday Friday, 8-hour day shifts Call requirement: 1 weekday per week and every 3rd weekend Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist (IRT) for a day-shift travel assignment. The technologist will support diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures under the direction of the physician, ensuring patient safety, accurate imaging, and adherence to regulatory standards. Responsibilities: Assist physicians with a variety of interventional radiology procedures (angiograms, line placements, embolizations, drainages, etc.) Prepare and position patients, maintain sterile field, and ensure appropriate supplies are available for each case Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment, monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during procedures Process and transmit images to PACS for physician review Monitor patient condition pre-, intra-, and post-procedure and report changes promptly Adhere to all infection control, radiation safety, and hospital protocols Participate in call rotation for emergency procedures Assist in maintaining equipment, stocking supplies, and performing quality checks Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide safe and effective patient care Qualifications: Current ARRT (R) certification (required) Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional (VI) or Cardiac Interventional (CI) preferred Active Radiologic Technologist license in the state of Nevada (required per Nevada Administrative Code Radiologic Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners) Current BLS (AHA) certification (required) ACLS (AHA) required within 30 days of hire Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology (required) Minimum 2 years of recent interventional radiology experience (required) Proficient computer and PACS/EMR skills
