Radiology Tech Location: Colorado Agency: Medix Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Medix is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist for a travel assignment with a specialized clinical partner in Denver. In this role, you will serve as a key clinician responsible for performing high-quality spine radiology procedures to assist attending physicians in patient evaluation and treatment. This position is ideal for an X-ray professional looking to apply their expertise in a specialized, fast-paced spine setting. Location: Denver, Colorado Facility Type: Spine & Orthopedic Clinic Start Date: 1/12/2025 Length of Assignment: 14 Weeks (560 Hours) Schedule: Monday – Thursday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Friday (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM) State License Needed: ARRT Certification (Colorado is a non-licensure state) Pay: Competitive travel packages and customized stipends are available for this assignment; please connect with your recruiter to discuss specific rate ranges. Responsibilities Perform spine radiology procedures accurately and efficiently to support physician diagnostics. Manage a high-volume clinical environment, completing approximately 20–40 scans per day. Utilize GE imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Maintain complete and accurate patient records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Conduct routine quality control checks and equipment audits to ensure all radiologic tools are functioning properly. Provide general patient care support to ensure a positive clinical experience for all patients. Requirements Education: Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in basic X-ray and/or trauma settings. Certification: Current ARRT certification is required. Skills: Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining strict attention to detail and patient safety. Preferred Qualifications Prior clinical experience working specifically in a Spine or Orthopedic setting is highly preferred, but not required.
