Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Charlotte, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,125 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - PICU Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience required; traveler experience accepted only for those with a high-level accurate skill set. License: NC State License required Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT required Must-Have: - Skills in emergency department, NICU, pediatric critical care, and pediatrics are necessary. - Competency in airway management devices and suctioning skills such as endotracheal tube placement and extubation. - Proficiency in pulmonary hygiene, sputum specimen collection, and tracheostomy care. - Experience with medication administration techniques for various respiratory medications. - Familiarity with oxygen therapy methods and ventilator management systems. - Capability in neonatal and pediatric equipment and procedures. Description: This position requires the ability to work in critical care and pediatric units. Neonates and pediatric patients will be the primary demographic. Skills in care for aspiration, COVID, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia are essential. Experience in troubleshooting mechanical ventilation and high-pressure alarms is necessary. Competency in the use of various equipment such as Servo-I, Servo-N, and oscillating ventilators is important. Knowledge of arterial blood gas interpretation is required. Completing assigned modules prior to the start is mandatory. Candidates may be required to float to different units as necessary. This role consists of working 36 hours per week with weekend and call requirements. Candidates must be willing to work flexible schedules to meet unit needs. The candidate must work two out of three major holidays. References are preferred at the time of submission. Travel pairs are allowed but must be submitted accordingly.
