Special Education Teacher Location: Gastonia, NC Agency: Aequor Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 7 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Location: Gastonia, NC Pay Rate: Up to: 1295.00/Week Start Date: 11/17/2025 to 05/21/2025 Duration: Duration of School Year Number of Positions: 10 Shift Type: Days Hours Per Day: 7 Discipline: Special Education Teacher (SPED) Specialty: School BHID - BR - $65 Sped teachers/Exceptional Children teachers -Must have their General Curriculum cert -Must submit transcripts with sub -Hours 37.5 -Start - Aug 5th -End Date - May 21 The principals have been asking for special education teachers that have "general curriculum" listed on their license. Some special education teachers have "adapted curriculum" on their license which limits them to a specific classroom. There are some teachers that have both. Staff start work on August 5th, with the exception of Student Specific Support Aides (1 on 1s) they will start with the students on August 14th. School ends for students on May 21st, so that would be the last day the SSSAs will work. Other staff can work up until May 30th as long as they are needed.
