The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients with hearing impairments, neurodevelopmental disorders, and various speech-related conditions. The role involves assessing and treating patients who may be ventilator-dependent or tracheostomy patients. Familiarity with conducting modified barium swallow studies and implementing the Frazier Free Water Protocol is preferred. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, providing support to patients recovering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and other neurological disorders. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong patient and family education skills. The position requires effective documentation and plan of care development. Candidates should be prepared to float between facilities if needed. Flexibility in working weekends and holidays is required.
