Self-motivated and able to work independently. Assertive with strong organizational skills. Description: We are seeking an Operating Room Technician with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. Candidates should have strong orthopedics, neurosurgery, and general surgery experience. Experience in arthroplasty is highly preferred. The role involves scrubbing cases, reviewing the resource map, and preparing for surgical procedures. The technician will assist in positioning patients, gathering equipment, and ensuring a sterile environment. Respiratory and anesthesia support is available 24/7. Documentation is performed using the Epic system. The environment requires professional appearance including appropriate scrubs, non-skid shoes, and minimal jewelry. This position does not require floating to other units. The technician will participate in seasonal holiday coverage and must be available during designated holidays. Candidates should be comfortable with a varied caseload, including general, orthopedic, and spinal surgeries. Experience with electronic charting systems is preferred.
