Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Valid nursing license in the state of Georgia
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS, ACLS; Strongly preferred: Neuro or Ortho specialty certifications
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room nursing; Experience with neuro and ortho cases required; Experience with robotics procedures is a plus
  • Other Requirements: Ability to adapt to varied scheduling; Strong teamwork and communication skills; Flexibility to float between cases and adapt to changing priorities

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide sterile and safe operating room environments by adhering to infection control standards and protocols.
  • Assist surgeons during neuro and ortho procedures, including robotics-assisted surgeries.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring all items are functional and sterile.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and intervene as necessary to maintain stability during procedures.
  • Document all surgical procedures, patient responses, and equipment usage accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
