We are seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee construction projects across multiple locations. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with quality standards. The ideal candidate is highly organized, hands-on, and comfortable traveling extensively to support project needs.

Responsibilities



  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from start to finish


  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel


  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards


  • Maintain project schedules and coordinate with project managers


  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and workmanship


  • Resolve on-site issues and proactively address project challenges


  • Communicate progress, delays, and concerns to project leadership


  • Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation


Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial and/or industrial construction


  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (often 100%)


  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety practices


  • Proven leadership and team management skills


  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications


  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities


  • OSHA certification preferred
