Position Posting  Treatment Plants Operator – Class 2   (1 Position Available)  Term of Employment:  Full-Time, Continuing  Rate of Pay:  $37.58 per hour (Subject to CUPE 1015 Agreement – Water and Wastewater Salary Grid)  Location:  Water Treatment Plant   Duties:   The Water Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Water Plant, River Intake, West End Reservoir and Upgrader Booster Station.

Operators monitor all facilities through a SCADA system and complete routine inspections.  Any process issues or equipment failures are dealt with, and the necessary corrective action taken.  Operators ensure safe drinking water is provided to the residents of Lloydminster and that we comply with the “Permit to Operate a Waterworks” issued by the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency. ...
