Casual Labourer for Tree cleanups

For a Labourer to support efficient storm clean-up operations for a leading outdoor horticulture and tree care provider. A casual/holiday role with chance to go permanent after 3 months, within a dynamic, family-oriented team located in the northern suburbs of Darwin.

About the Casual Labourer Senior in Horticulture and Arboriculture role

  • Requires: hands-on experience in tree work and a MR or HR truck licence
  • Salary guide: $40 - $45 per hour inclusive of leave loading, high end if you have Chainsaw experience / ticket
  • Location: Northern suburbs of Darwin.

What the Casual Labourer Senior in Horticulture and Arboriculture will do each day

  • Drag and cut tree branches and load trucks efficiently to meet daily clean-up targets.
  • Operate wood chippers and other relevant machinery in a safe and competent manner.
  • Perform general manual labour tasks on site, ensuring all areas are cleaned and left tidy post operations.
  • Assist experienced operators with storm-damaged vegetation removal without climbing or engaging in high-risk lopping.
  • Contribute positively to a family-team culture by supporting colleagues and prioritising workplace safety.
