Trim Engineer

Overview

Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

2 to 5 years in Product Engineering (preferred automotive industry and trim process)

Responsibilities

• Responsible of engineering root cause analysis, support for design and development, production support at launches.
• Knowledge on drawing standards, GD&T, Stack-ups, Validation testing, FMEA.
• Materials technical knowledge (fabric, leather, vinyl, carpets, non-woven, etc.)
• Pattern development and CAD 2D
• Executes analysis and support robust engineering changes to ensure proper follow up for flawless and on time implementation.
• Uses the right analysis tool for providing technical solution to program/product issues.
• Working side-to-side with a multidisciplinary team of local and foreign engineers to achieve product and program requirements compliance and criteria.
