TRIO Advisor

Student Support Services (SSS), a federally funded TRIO grant program, operates under the sponsorship of the U.S. Department of Education. The SSS Program’s mission is to increase the retention and graduation rates of eligible undergraduate participants by providing comprehensive academic support services. It fosters academic success through a supportive educational environment and holistic advising at Simpson University. The SSS Program at the university serves at least 150 participants.

The TRIO Advisor holistically supports TRIO students through life coaching, academic advising, tutoring plans, financial planning and FAFSA assistance, leadership training, career and internship planning, and facilitates summer bridge programs.
