Duties include however are not limited to the following:
Delivery and pickups of general freight in and around Melbourne metropolitan areas, with occasional regional work Travelling to various customers sites and preparing trucks to be unloaded/loaded (use of ratchet straps/opening curtains or gates, adjust mezzanine floors when required Effective time management to ensure timeslots are met. Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements. In line with company standards and government regulations Performing vehicle pre-start checks. Reporting any defects / safety concerns to supervisor Fill out Drivers Daily Worksheets, pallet details, amendments, fatigue breaks or additions.
