**Responsibilities:**
+ Be the technical person in charge of hydro turbine mechanical design on a new or refurbishment project, supported by Principal/Consulting Engineers;
+ Analyze technical information from Work Packages (Technical Specifications, Division of Work) and participate in identifying the risks and opportunities of the project on technical matters;
+ Plan and follow project engineering basic design phase and coordinate with Hydraulic design team (hydraulic test lab) and Special Calculation team;
+ Perform designs and calculations of turbine components and validate critical ones with Principal/Consulting Engineers;
+ Direct and manage design reviews, perform design review actions follow-up;
+ Provide technical support to the customer in coordination with the project System Integrator;
