Job Description
Role Overview:
The TV Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and optimizing TV airtime for retail shopping programs to drive sales, improve viewership, and maximize revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and schedule daily/weekly TV slots for retail products and shows
• Optimize airtime based on sales performance, viewership, and inventory availability
• Coordinate with merchandising, buying, programming, sales, and operations teams
• Monitor product-wise and slot-wise sales, GRPs, and conversion trends
• Ensure effective inventory utilization and minimize stock-outs or overexposure
• Prepare MIS, dashboards, and performance analysis reports
• Support demand forecasting and promotional planning
• Ensure smooth execution of live and recorded retail shopping shows
Skills & Requirements:
• Experience in TV planning/media planning (retail shopping or teleshopping preferred)
