  • Job Summary


    The TV Planner for TJC is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing television airtime to drive maximum call volumes, conversions, and revenue. The role focuses on slot planning, show scheduling, performance analysis, and ROI-driven decision making across regional and national TV platforms.


    Key Responsibilities


  • Plan and optimize TV airtime schedules for live and recorded tele-shopping shows




  • Identify high-performing time bands (prime, non-prime, overnight) to maximize call volumes




  • Analyze slot-wise performance based on calls, conversions, AOV, and revenue




  • Work closely with tele-sales, production, and merchandising teams




  • Manage media budgets and ensure ROI-positive slot utilization




  • Track and analyze TRP, BARC data, call data, and sales dashboards




  • Optimize content duration, repeats, and frequency based on performance insights




  • Coordinate with broadcasters for slot availability, pricing, and renewals




  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance MIS reports




  • Monitor competitor tele-shopping channels and market trends


  • Skills & Competencies


  • Strong understanding of tele-shopping metrics (calls/min, conversion %, AOV, revenue/hour)




  • Knowledge of BARC data, TRP analysis, and slot efficiency




  • Data-driven decision making and strong Excel skills




  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales and operations




  • High ownership mindset with strong analytical and commercial acumen




  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, performance-driven environments


  • Qualifications


  • Graduate / MBA in Marketing, Media, Advertising, or Business Management




  • Experience in tele-shopping, jewellery, lifestyle, or retail TV preferred
