Twisting Process Engineer
Position Overview
Shaw Industries is hiring a Process Engineer to provide technical support to the Twisting and Heatset Departments.
Responsibilities:
+ Provide support to manufacturing department managers and supervisors.
+ Provide technical support to Twisting/Heatset Department to improve processes and quality.
+ Attend meetings as needed and interface with all plant management.
+ Ensure compliance with contractor safety program.
+ Champion six sigma efforts for Twisting and Heatset Departments including black belt support, data analysis, scheduling meetings, savings calculations, reporting, Powersteering updates, and drive improvement etc.
+ Champion technical writing for Twisting and Heatset Departments including SMS procedures, Brady Lockout procedures, etc.
+ Serve as liaison between Twisting Department and yarn suppliers providing feedback as needed.
