Role: TWS Scheduling

Job Title :

Tivoli Workload scheduler and Administrator for OPC (Operations and production controller).

Job Description :

Looking for an experienced TWS OPC Scheduler and Administrator who will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting TWS OPC batch scheduling environments. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in both scheduling and administrative aspects of TWS OPC, with the ability to analyze and resolve job failures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Creation/Modification/Deletions of Jobs, Applications in database and current plan.
• Creation/Modification/Deletions of run cycles, Variable tables and periods in database and current plan.
• Create and maintain TWS OPC calendars as per business requirements.
• Analyse job failures and provide timely resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Verifying scheduling, rerun or restart information.
• Knowledge in Job scripts in 3.4 datasets.
• Knowledge in Job logs and Syslogs to find out the issue.
• Unloading applications from one to another environment.

Perform administrative tasks such as:

• Install, configure, and upgrade TWS Agents across environments.
• Troubleshooting & Resolution of problems with the Master Domain Manager and FTA Unlinks.
• Experience in resolving Work station issues as offline status and unlink state.
• Expert knowledge in troubleshooting failed jobs and file system full issues.
• Design, create, and maintain TWS OPC job schedules across multiple environments.
• Manage Control and Exclusive resources to optimize job flow and prevent conflicts.
• Knowledge on Linux/Windows servers for resolving the issues.

Participate in on-call support rotation for production job monitoring and issue resolution.
