UAS Field Engineer (Unmanned Aircraft Systems)

The UAS Field Engineer is responsible for supporting unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operations in field environments, ensuring reliable system performance through hands-on troubleshooting, integration, testing, and technical support. This role bridges flight operations and engineering, working closely with pilots/operators, engineering teams, and customers to deploy and sustain UAS platforms and payload systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering support for UAS deployments, flight tests, demonstrations, and operational missions.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, system checks, and mission readiness verification.
• Configure and operate ground control stations (GCS), communications links, and mission planning software.
