UAV Test Pilot for Agriculture Medium Class Drones

Overview

The UAV Test Pilot – Agriculture is responsible for flight testing, validation, and field trials of Medium Class agricultural drones used for spraying, mapping, and precision farming. The role ensures airworthiness, safety, regulatory compliance (DGCA), and performance validation before commercial deployment. The pilot works closely with R&D, manufacturing, QA, and regulatory teams to support product development, certification, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Flight Testing & Validation: Conduct manual, semi-autonomous, and autonomous test flights of Medium Class agricultural UAVs; perform RTK accuracy validation (horizontal & vertical), convergence time checks, and drift analysis; perform payload, endurance, range, altitude, and environmental testing; validate spraying accuracy, flow rate consistency, swath width, and terrain following; test VRT and Droplet Management; execute pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checklists...
