Job Description

RED has a new contract opportunity for a UI Engineer to join one of our key partners for a new Digital Product Development project. The initial contract will be for 6 months with scope for extension.

This contract is to start ASAP and will be hybrid with 3 days per week on-site in Belfast .

Specific skills/experience required:

  • 3 years of experience with professional web application development.
  • Strong experience with: React functional components
  • Typescript/JavaScript
  • Automated testing (integration & unit tests)
  • Wireframing with Figma or similar
  • Agile delivery
  • Isomorphic frameworks (,
  • Mono‑repo tooling (, NX, Yarn Workspaces)
  • Contract‑first system design
  • AWS software solutions
  • Version control experience with Git and backlog management with JIRA.
