UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team and create intuitive, efficient, and visually appealing designs for our enterprise Softwares. You will be responsible for designing user interfaces in Figma for a complex Android application used by restaurant staff, kitchen teams, and customers in fast-paced hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Create high-fidelity UI designs and interactive prototypes in Figma

- Design intuitive user flows for complex workflows (ordering, payments, Mission critical operations)

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system with reusable components

- Collaborate with Android developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation accuracy

- Conduct user research and usability testing with restaurant staff

- Design for multiple form factors (tablets, phones, etc)

- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG guidelines)

- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics data

- Document design specifications and hand off assets to development team

Required Skills

Core Design Skills (3+ years)

- Expert proficiency in Figma for UI design, prototyping, and collaboration

- Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile application design (Android preferred)

- Solid understanding of UX principles and user-centered design methodology

- Experience creating and maintaining design systems and component libraries

- Ability to translate complex workflows into simple, intuitive interfaces

Android & Material Design

- Deep knowledge of Material Design 3 guidelines and components

- Understanding of Android design patterns, navigation, and interaction models

- Familiarity with Android screen densities, sizing, and responsive layouts

- Knowledge of Android accessibility features and guidelines

Visual Design

- Strong typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy skills

- Ability to create clean, professional interfaces suitable for business environments

- Experience with iconography and illustration for UI elements

- Understanding of motion design and micro-interactions

UX Research & Process

- Experience conducting user interviews and usability testing

- Ability to create user personas, journey maps, and user flows

- Data-driven design approach using analytics and feedback

- Experience with A/B testing and iterative design processes

Preferred Skills

Domain Experience

- Prior experience designing POS systems, retail, or hospitality applications

- Understanding of restaurant operations and workflows

- Experience with transactional interfaces (checkout flows, payment screens)

Specialized Design Areas

- Experience designing for high-stress, fast-paced environments

- Experience with data-heavy interfaces (dashboards, reports, order lists)

Technical Understanding

- Basic understanding of Android development constraints and capabilities

- Familiarity with design-to-development handoff processes

- Experience working with version control for design files

- Knowledge of animation/motion tools (Principle, After Effects, or Figma prototyping)

Design Deliverables

You will be expected to create:

- User Flows & Wireframes: Low-fidelity flows for complex features

- High-Fidelity Mockups: Pixel-perfect screen designs

- Interactive Prototypes: Clickable prototypes for user testing and developer reference

- Design System: Components, tokens, styles, and documentation

- Specifications: Detailed specs for spacing, typography, colors, and interactions

- Asset Exports: Icons, images, and graphics optimized for Android
