An opportunity for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist specializing in general and vascular ultrasound imaging is available in Mooresville, NC. This role supports a 16-bed, free-standing emergency department operating 24/7, offering X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound services. The position requires a commitment to weekend work and a willingness to cover most holidays, providing critical imaging services to emergency and limited outpatient populations.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound technologist experience.
• Certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Sonography) is mandatory.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in general ultrasound and vascular imaging.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform an average of 8 ultrasound studies daily, primarily supporting emergency department patients.
• Utilize advanced imaging technology including Siemens Sequoia, Philips iSite PACS, and EPIC-based EMR systems.
• Conduct imaging accurately and efficiently during scheduled weekend and holiday shifts.
• Participate in administrative and departmental orientation and training to ensure adherence to facility policies and use of information systems.

Schedule and Hours:

• Weekend shifts: 12 hours from 1900 to 0700, working every weekend.
• Weekday shifts vary, generally 8 hours.
• Expect to work 75% of holidays.
