A dynamic opportunity exists for an Ultrasound Technologist with strong general ultrasound and vascular imaging skills. This contract position involves working primarily overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with occasional weekend and holiday coverage. The role demands flexibility to float between a main hospital and an outpatient imaging center, providing diverse clinical exposure in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including vascular studies, using advanced equipment such as Siemens Sequoia and P2000.
  • Manage a high volume of patients efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Adapt to shifting assignments between hospital and outpatient settings as needed.
  • Follow departmental protocols and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in orientation and comply with clinical and facility-specific training requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of one year experience in ultrasound imaging, with specific expertise in vascular ultrasound.
  • National certification credentials (ARDMS or ARRT) along with BLS certification required.
  • No North Carolina state licensure is necessary.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt quickly to fast-paced clinical environments.
  • Previous experience working overnight shifts and handling holiday schedules preferred.
  • Must provide a photo ID during compliance processing.
