WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

The Diagnostic Imaging team at STEGH includes General Radiography (XRay), Computer Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine (NM), Bone Mineral Density (BMD), Mammograph, Ontario Breast Screening Program, Ultrasound, Gastric Barium Studies, and Specialized Procedures (Biopsies, Drainages, etc). All imaging procedures are performed by Medical Radiation Technologists (MRT) and interpreted by Radiologists using state‑of‑the‑art technology to provide the best possible service to our community and surrounding areas. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform high‑quality procedures in accordance with departmental standards to aid in a patient's diagnosis and/or treatment.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program
  • Registration with CMRITO
  • BLS certificate
  • Demonstrated competency in all aspects of general sonography
