:Reporting to the Mine Captain, you will be part of the Underground Operations Department. You will plan, organize, lead and control the daily development and production activities in a safe and efficient manner on a given shift. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
Actively participate in company safety programs. Address safety issues in daily huddle. Conduct informal and formal inspections with coaching for improvement. Complete report on findings and promptly & appropriately follow up on safety concerns. Conduct and encourage participation in all safety meetings;
Inform and receive information from and to crew and technical services about construction priorities; inform captain about issues as needed, including preparing required reports;
