Job Tasks and Responsibilities

In this exciting period of growth, a number of opportunities exist at Moolarben Coal Operations to join our Underground team as an Electrical Tradesperson across the Monday to Thursday permanent dayshift and permanent nightshift rosters.

Reporting to the Shift Area Leader (Undermanager), your responsibilities will include:

  • To supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the mine

  • Monitor electrical equipment to ensure it remains in a fit for purpose and safe condition

  • Operate machinery as part of a multi-skilled workforce

    • Skills and Experience


    ESSENTIAL

  • Underground Coal Mining experience - preferably previous Longwall experience

  • Have the appropriate qualifications under the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation as qualified electrical tradesm...
