About the role

Are you ready to take the next step in your underground mining career? We’re looking for a capable and driven Underground Leading Hand to act as the 2IC to our Shift Supervisors at Mungari. This is a frontline leadership role designed to support daily underground operations while building toward statutory competence as a future Underground Shift Supervisor.


You’ll be the Supervisor’s right-hand underground, ensuring safe and productive shift execution, maintaining continuity of supervision, and leading by example. If you hold a WA Shift Supervisor Ticket (or are actively working toward it), this is your opportunity to grow into a formal leadership role.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Support safe execution of the 24-hour plan and escalate hazards or delays, while reinforcing hazard awareness and safe behaviours across the crew.
