Overview
We have an exciting opening and are recruiting for an Underwriter/Credit Analyst to join our expanding regional team in the UK & Ireland. Team members are based in Dublin and Leicester. Work in close collaboration with wider Credit Team Members in other Global Payments locations, including Leicester, England, Dublin, Ireland & Manila, Philippines.
Main Duties
- Underwriting of businesses applying for Card Payments facilities
- Assessment / evaluation of feasibility of merchant’s business models in the POS (Point-of-Sale), MOTO (Mail Order/Telephone Order) and ECOM (E-Commerce) environment including the inherent risks related to card acceptance/acquiring
- Performance of financial analysis based on financial statements and forecast
- Assessment of business models in the context of due diligence and compliance with the guidelines of the payment institutions
- Assess and interpret Credit Bureau Reports
