Your Opportunity:

The Unit Manager is responsible for providing interdisciplinary clinical leadership and operational management for patient care units. Activities are achieved through a presence and visibility on the unit. Through clinical leadership, mentoring, coaching and performance management of staff, the Unit Manager ensures high quality patient care. This role is responsible to coach team members to achieve comprehensive and integrated care planning, promote the development of clinical practice quality improvements, implement evidence-based practice and critically assess, evaluate, anticipate and address risks to patient and staff safety. This role leads the implementation of provincial, zone and local clinical and operational priorities and initiatives at the unit level.
