Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent with average reading, writing and oral communications skills
  • Working knowledge of direct patient care

  • Basic knowledge of Unit Secretary functions

  • Successful completion of one of the following: 

    Nursing Assistant ProgramMedical Assistant ProgramEquivalent work history in a patient care environmentRotation with total patient care at Nursing SchoolEMT Training

    • Licensure/Registration/Certification:

  • BLS - American Heart Association

    • Desired Qualifications

    Working knowledge of Unit Secretary functions

    Desired licensure, Registration, Certification

    Certified Nursing Assistant or Registered Medical
