Job Description
Must have qualifications:
Experience working in a large 7x24 investment banking distributed Unix environment within the realms of a Change Management processes. 5+ years Sun Soliars Server architecture/administration experience, 2+ years RedHat Linux Server architecture/administration experience.
Candidates must be client focused, able to work independently while interacting across different teams to accomplish projects and detail oriented; Ability to complete detailed quality documentation, project plans using MS project, Visio,
Proficient in:
• SUN server hardware and components
• Veritas Cluster Technologies
• Veritas Foundation Suite Technologies.
• Veritas Netbackup.
• Automation of server builds using Jumpstart / Kickstart.
• Unix Systems Troubleshooting
TCP/IP protocol suite and its utilities
NIS, LDAP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, and NFS.
• Coding skills in Perl, and KSH.
Knowledgeable with :
Experience with Kerberos
Have written scripts...
