Unix/ Linux build engineer- Puppet

Exp: 7yrs to 12yrs

• 7–8 years of experience in Unix/Linux engineering and build/release automation .
• Strong hands-on experience with Puppet — manifests, modules, Hiera, Enterprise/OSS.
• Experience in AWS EC2 rehost activities (lift-and-shift migrations).
• Experience building and releasing SOE/Gold Images in AWS (AMI) and GCP (Custom Images) .
• Perform RHEL 7-8-9 in-place upgrade using LEAPP and troubleshoot.
• In Depth knowledge in Veritas cluster setup, patching, upgrade.
• Solaris Jumpstart/AI OS install process, Patch management and manage CDOM/IO using OEM.
• AIX LPAR creation, manage VIOS, HMC and patch management.
• Strong Shell scripting (Bash/Ksh) and Python scripting skills.
• Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, TeamCity.
