Unix/ Linux Build Engineer- Puppet

Exp: 7yrs to 12yrs
- 7–8 years of experience in Unix/Linux engineering and build/release automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Puppet — manifests, modules, Hiera, Enterprise/OSS.
- Experience in AWS EC2 rehost activities (lift-and-shift migrations).
- Experience building and releasing SOE/Gold Images in AWS (AMI) and GCP (Custom Images).
- Perform RHEL 7-8-9 in-place upgrade using LEAPP and troubleshoot.
- In Depth knowledge in Veritas cluster setup, patching, upgrade.
- Solaris Jumpstart/AI OS install process, Patch management and manage CDOM/IO using OEM.
- AIX LPAR creation, manage VIOS, HMC and patch management.
- Strong Shell scripting (Bash/Ksh) and Python scripting skills.
- Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo, TeamCity.
- Knowledge of network basics (DNS, routing, firewalls) and storage (NFS/EBS).
- Familiarity with HyperV, Ansible, or Terraform is a strong advantage.
