Unix Linux System Administrator

Overview

• Lead L2 / L3 production and project support for Linux environments
• Manage installations, patching, migrations, and scripting (Shell & Perl)
• Troubleshoot hardware / software issues across Linux, HP-UX, Solaris, and AIX
• Optimize system performance and availability
• Coach and mentor team members
• Work with ITIL-based tools and monitoring systems

Requirements and Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Linux and Unix systems
• Deep expertise in filesystem, volume, and storage management
• Strong knowledge of networking, clustering (PCS), and system hardening
• Familiarity with SAN / NAS, backup tools (TSM, VEEAM), and storage suites (EMC, NetApp, Hitachi)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and non-standard hours
• Advanced English
