About the Role: 

We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and highly flexible individual to join our Bethanie Home Care South West team as an Unqualified Support Worker. This role involves supporting areas within the Bunbury and surrounding areas. This permanent part-time role offers 10-15hrs per week, and the successful applicant will need to be available from Tuesday to Thursday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Professionally deliver a variety of services, including food, laundry, leisure, supporting hobbies and interests, and domestic cleaning.
• Ensure all living areas of clients’ homes are kept clean, tidy, and safe from hazards.
• Perform and document all personal care tasks appropriately.
• Provide respect and compassion to clients.
• Support customers with transport to appointments.
• Provide social support to customers, spending time doing the things they love.

About You:

• Previous experience within an Aged Care or Community Care environment is desired. If you haven’t worked in the industry, tell us about your passion for older people.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Ability to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients are maintained.
• Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current Police Clearance or willingness to apply for one.
• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations.
