Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with SEN

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

  • Support pupils with EHCP targets and individual learning plans

  • Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation

  • Support personal care where required

  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and SENCO

  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language)

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Patience, empathy, and resilience

  • Relevant qualifications or training desirable (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, SEN training)

  • Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
