Upper School Biology & Science Teacher

What You’ll Be Doing:

· Teaching Grade 10 Science and Grade 11 Biology

· Preparing, developing and implementing engaging lessons plans for students consistent with the Ministry of Education curriculum;

· Using a variety of teaching and support strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students;

· Incorporating a variety of visual aids, creative projects and technology to gain and enhance student involvement;

· Evaluating each student’s learning, understanding and performance through class work, assignments and tests;

· Fostering healthy relationships with students and faculty to create an enriched learning environment;

· Maintaining effective communication with students, parents and faculty;

· Completing required record keeping such as student attendance, grades and report cards;

· Participating in extra-curricular coaching, co-curricular and supervision responsibilities.
