Based in Calgary, the URD Lead Hand is responsible for performing and leading general activities on year round underground URD distribution construction sites in Calgary and surrounding areas. They will liaise with tradespersons, coordinators, managers, and site superintendent personnel to accomplish project milestones in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Take initiative to lead a URD team.
+ Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas.
+ Assist tradespersons (electricians) as required.
+ Provide direction and guidance to heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators ...
