Job Description
We are the Pihl-Rookes family, residing in Trail, British Columbia, and we are looking for a dedicated nanny to join our household. We are offering a part-time position with a pay rate of $22 per hour.
Our family has a small dog, an infant and a primary school-aged child, so we need someone who is comfortable caring for children of different ages as well as our Frenchie. Our school aged child is autistic with a speech delay but communicates well using an AAC device, is very well-behaved, and benefits from gentle reminders of his needs (eating, toileting) and access to quiet spaces when needing help with regulation. Experience with neurodivergent children, or a genuine willingness to learn and follow established routines, is important to us.
This position involves live-out arrangements. We are a shift-working household and require care 1–4 days per week. The position would start in June or July as I am returning to work. For most of the year, care is typically needed Thursdays to...
