Job Description

Responsibilities:Perform welding tasks using specified welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, etc.) on various types of metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.).Interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.Prepare metal surfaces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and ensuring proper fit-up.Set up and adjust welding machines and equipment to ensure proper welding parameters.Produce high-quality welds that meet specified standards for strength, appearance, and dimensional accuracy.Inspect finished welds for defects (., porosity, cracks, incomplete fusion) and perform necessary repairs or rework.Operate welding machines, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.Adhere strictly to all welding safety procedures and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and report any malfunctions.Work effectively with fitters, fabricators, and other team members to complete projects.Maintain basic records of welding work performed and materials used.Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues in Marathi and Hindi.
