Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is actively searching for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to provide services at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center located in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

This Urologist position offers:

  • Full Time
  • Direct Patient Care: estimated 95 % of the time involved in direct patient care. Contractor shall be responsible for professional urology services.
  • Provide clinical urology services including surgeries, consultations cystoscopies and other related urology procedures. 
  • Shall be present on time for any scheduled clinics/surgeries as documented by physical presence in the clinic or operating room at the scheduled start time.
  • Shall provide direct patient care including specialty exams such as compensation and pension, agent orange, etc., as it pertains to urological conditions only.
  • Monday through Friday, 7:30 a to 4:00 pm, on call hours as required
  • On-Call Weeknight: Monday - Friday; 4:00pm - 7:30am.
  • On-Call Weekends: Saturday 7:30am - Sunday 7:30am and/or Sunday 7:30am - Monday 7:30am.
  • On-Call Holidays: 12:00am - 11:59pm. Physician to carry pager or cell phone at all times while on-call.
  • On-call contractor’s physician(s) must be available at all times for phone consultations with VA residents and physicians.
  • On-call providers must be available within 15 minutes by phone and on-site, within 60 minutes

    • Job Requirements:

    The Urologist will have the following requirements:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology
  • Completed a Residency or Fellowship in Urology
  • Any State License
  • BLS, ACLS
