Posting Title: Urologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹6LPM to 7LPM Work Experience: 2+ years Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results. Diagnose and manage a wide range of urological conditions, including benign and malignant diseases of the kidneys, bladder, prostate, ureters, and male reproductive system. Conduct advanced surgical procedures such as TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate), TURBT (Transurethral Resection of Bladder Tumor), endourological stone management (e.g., ureteroscopy, percutaneous nephrolithotomy), and laparoscopic urology surgeries. Provide expert care in uro-oncology, including diagnosis, staging, and surgical management of bladder, kidney, prostate, and testicular cancers. Perform and interpret cystoscopy and other endoscopic procedures for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Participate in renal transplant evaluations, pre-operative assessments, and post-transplant follow-up care in collaboration with transplant teams. Lead or contribute to multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical case discussions. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records and documentation. Stay current with emerging techniques, technologies, and evidence-based practices in urology through continuous professional development. Mentor and train junior medical staff, residents, and medical students in clinical and surgical skills. Requirements: MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Urology (MD/MS in Urology) from a recognized medical institution. Minimum of 2 years of post-graduation clinical and surgical experience in a hospital or specialty clinic setting. Proven expertise in endourology, laparoscopic urology, open urology surgery, and kidney stone management. Demonstrated proficiency in TURP, TURBT, prostate surgery, uro-oncology, cystoscopy, and renal transplant-related procedures. Strong understanding of pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient management protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and families. Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives. Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent). Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment with rotating on-call duties.
