Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for US clients
- Update and maintain the books of accounts and ledgers
- Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system
- Ensure correctness and accuracy of accounts at all times
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
- Knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Analyze financial statements and provide insights to management
- Monitor any variances from the projected budget, accounting systems and processes.
Required Qualification & Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or commerce
- Any additional Post Graduate Certificate or Degree will get added preference.
- 3–5 years of experience for Accountant; 5–8 years for Senior Accountant
Competencies:
- Should have knowledge of US accounting
- Working experience of Quickbooks and other software applications for accounting for US entities
- Accounting knowledge
- Understanding accounting best practices
- Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, or another accounting framework
- High attention to overall accounting systems & processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Produce work with a high level of accuracy
- Periodical reconciliation, confirmation and cross verification of vender accounts
- Should have a good understanding of financial statistics and US accounting principles
- Experience in software like Sage and Microsoft Dynamic will be an advantage.
