The Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering comprehensive training programmes focused on US mortgage processes, specifically Originations and Underwriting . This role requires strong leadership, facilitation skills, and deep domain expertise to ensure associates are equipped to perform effectively and in compliance with regulatory standards.


Responsibilities


Training Needs Assessment:

  • Conduct thorough analysis of training requirements based on business objectives, performance gaps, and regulatory changes.
  • Identify knowledge and skill gaps within the mortgage team.
  • Develop and implement a training plan to address identified needs.
  • Develop training materials, including presentations, software demos, and job guides.
  • Ensure that new hires (both experienced and inexperienced) can contribute productively and efficiently immediately after training.


Curriculum Development:

  • Design engaging training materials (presentations, manuals, workbooks, online modules).
  • Create role-specific programmes for loan officers, underwriters, and processors.
  • Ensure content aligns with industry best practices and compliance standards.


Training Delivery:

  • Facilitate interactive sessions via classroom, virtual platforms, and webinars.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to trainees for knowledge retention.

Performance Evaluation:

  • Develop and administer assessments to measure training effectiveness.
  • Track KPIs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, department heads, and employees.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop accurate and relevant training content.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization regarding training initiatives.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education.
  • Candidate should have at least one year as on paper team lead currently.
  • Proven experience in training and development, with a focus on the mortgage industry.
  • Strong understanding of mortgage products, processes, and regulations.
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills .
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work in any shift.
  • Willingness to work from Office


Work Location: Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai.
